It was a great fun and a great pleasure to welcome Jackie Jackson, founding member of the legendary Jackson 5, and his wife Emily to the ROOTS Exhibition during Milano Design Week 2025. Their visit brought an extra spark of soul and joy to an already vibrant event celebrating the intersection of art, design, and ecology.

Jackson was in Milan to present his furniture brand Hayvenhurst, a collection of sustainable, circular luxury furniture that he co-founded with Dutch designer Robert Milder. The brand was featured at Masterly – The Dutch in Milano, where it drew attention for its elegant balance between soulful storytelling, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility.

At ROOTS Exhibition Milano, the Jacksons explored how design can begin — and return — to the soil. They were inspired by the exhibition’s central theme, “The Last Supper, From a Different Perspective,” which reimagines our relationship with materials, landscapes, and each other.

Their visit symbolized a bridge between music, culture, and design — and a shared belief that creativity must lead the way toward a more regenerative world. With Hayvenhurst set to return to Milan in April 2026, the story of sustainable design continues to grow, rooted in both soul and soil.
