From 18–21 September, the 16th edition of GLUE Amsterdam brings together designers, studios, and creative brands across the city for a four-day celebration of Dutch design.

Among the participating designers is Aga Blonska, presenting New Dawn, the poetic light object she designed for the ROOTS Exhibition in Milano — a collaboration with Studio Simone van Es and 3D Makers Zone.

After its premiere during Milano Design Week 2024, where it captured attention for its innovative use of PHA, a fully compostable biopolymer, New Dawn continues its journey in Amsterdam. The piece is longlisted by Dezeen Awards 2025 and stands as a symbol of renewal — merging nature, light, and material research into a single luminous gesture.

You can experience New Dawn at:

The Frozen Fountain
Prinsengracht 645
Amsterdam

Come and see how New Dawn illuminates the path toward a regenerative future — where design begins, and ends, with nature.
